A standard GPS device installation in a single vehicle typically takes 30–60 minutes. After installation, your account is configured and your vehicle appears on the live map immediately. Larger fleets are scheduled in batches to minimize downtime.

We use professional-grade GPS tracking devices that connect directly to the vehicle's power and, where applicable, to the CAN bus or fuel sensors. The exact model depends on the vehicle type and the features you need (basic tracking vs. fuel sensors, temperature sensors, panic button, etc.).
Yes - passenger cars, vans, light and heavy trucks, buses, construction machinery, agricultural vehicles, generators and even boats. We'll recommend the right hardware and sensors for each vehicle type.
No. Our certified technicians install the device using non-invasive connections - nothing is cut or permanently modified.
Yes. If you sell or replace a vehicle, we can transfer the device to the new one. Simply contact our support team to schedule the move.
The system immediately sends an alert by email and in-app notification if the device loses power, is disconnected, or detects unusual activity. You'll always know the moment something is off.
Location accuracy is typically within a few meters under normal conditions. Live position updates every few seconds while the vehicle is moving, so you always see an up-to-date view of your fleet.
When the vehicle temporarily loses mobile network coverage, the device buffers all data on board and uploads it as soon as the connection is restored - so no trip data is ever lost.
Anima GPS works across Europe and most of the world. Our trucking customers regularly track routes through the Balkans, Western Europe, Scandinavia and beyond, with multi-country route breakdowns and toll-road information included.
Absolutely. The platform is designed for fleets - from a handful of vehicles up to hundreds. You can view the entire fleet on a single map, filter by group or driver, and zoom in on individual vehicles.
Yes. The Anima GPS mobile app is available for both iOS and Android, giving you access to live tracking, reports, alerts and notifications directly from your phone.
Depending on the vehicle, we read fuel data either from the on-board CAN bus or from a dedicated fuel-level sensor installed in the tank. The system displays fuel levels in real time, total consumption, and a detailed graph showing every refill and drop in fuel level.
Yes. Sudden drops in fuel level outside of normal operation are highlighted on the fuel chart and can trigger an automatic alert. You can review the exact location and time of each event and take action immediately.
CAN bus readings give very high accuracy on modern vehicles. Where a separate fuel sensor is installed, accuracy depends on calibration - our technicians calibrate each sensor to your specific tank for reliable readings.

Yes. You can schedule any report to be generated and emailed to one or more recipients automatically - daily, weekly or monthly. This means managers receive the data they need without ever logging in.

Anima GPS supports a wide range of customizable alerts, including:
All alerts can be enabled or disabled per vehicle or per group, and you choose how each alert is delivered.
Notifications are delivered through the in-app notification center, by email, and - for critical events such as the panic button - by SMS. You choose which channels are used for each alert type.
The services module lets you set up scheduled maintenance based on either kilometers driven or a fixed time interval. You'll see at a glance how many days or kilometers remain until each service. Vehicle registration dates and other key dates can be added to the calendar so they never slip through.
Yes. The system sends an email and in-app notification when a service is approaching, and again when it becomes due, so vehicles are always serviced on time.
Yes. The services module keeps a full log of every completed service, including the date, mileage, vehicle and any notes - useful for warranty, resale and audit purposes.

Subscription terms are agreed in your service contract. Cancellation rules and notice periods are set out there - get in touch with our team for the specific terms that apply to your plan.
After cancellation, your historical data is retained for 30 days. After that period, the data may be permanently deleted, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
Only you and the users you authorize. You can create multiple user accounts with different permission levels (admin, dispatcher, viewer, etc.) so each team member sees exactly what they need - and nothing more.
Tracking history, reports and events are retained for the duration of your active subscription, allowing you to look back over the past 365 days.
Yes. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on secure servers with access controls and regular backups. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your fleet data.
Yes. We offer integrations with major logistics platforms including Timocom, DHL and Project 44, allowing you to automatically share live position data with shippers and partners directly from Anima GPS.
